BEFORE YOU BOOK
Clear terms for a smooth retreat experience.
These conditions apply to bookings made with Ánanda Suruci Yoga Retreat Center. Individual and group bookings have different cancellation arrangements, so please review the section relevant to you.
IF WE CANCEL A RETREAT
You will receive a full refund or may transfer your booking.
Ánanda Suruci Yoga Retreat Center reserves the right to cancel a retreat. If this happens, we will normally give at least one week’s notice. You may receive a full refund or transfer your payment to another retreat date.
INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS
Cancellation and transfer policy
The following conditions apply when an individual guest cancels a retreat booking. Notice periods are measured from the retreat start date.

No credit or refund is available for a no-show or for leaving the retreat early.
Please allow up to seven days for refund processing. Refunds are issued through PayPal, and the recipient is responsible for any transfer charges.
ON SITE
Retreat rules
To protect the wellbeing of all guests and maintain a supportive retreat environment:
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the retreat.
- Alcohol is not permitted anywhere within the retreat.
- Guests are expected to respect the shared spaces, programme and other participants.
BEFORE TRAVELLING
Travel advice
We can advise on travel and visa requirements, but you remain responsible for ensuring that your documents are valid and complete.
- Check the entry and visa requirements that apply to your nationality.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your planned return date.
- Arrange adequate travel insurance covering the full duration of your journey.
Although we offer full care during the retreat, we cannot accept responsibility for losses arising when a guest chooses not to obtain suitable insurance.
30 OR MORE PARTICIPANTS
Group booking conditions
The following payment and cancellation terms apply to organized group bookings with a minimum of 30 participants.

Payment schedule
- Six months before: pay a 50% deposit to complete registration.
- One month before: pay the remaining 50% balance.

If numbers fall below 30
- The group must independently find a replacement for a cancelling participant.
- The replacement inherits the original booking and does not repay the deposit.
- Deposits and paid fees are not refundable unless a replacement is secured.
- Ánanda Suruci does not maintain a waitlist for group replacements.

Cancellation refunds when the group remains at 30 or more
The refundable amount is the total fee paid minus the applicable processing or cancellation fee.

Deadline calculation: all deadlines are calculated from 00:00 on the retreat start date. For example, “48 hours before” means by 00:00 two days before the retreat begins.
